The first metal joinery hardware construction method for wood-built structures developed and standardized in Japan. This has enabled freedom in design such as for large spaces and large spans which was difficult to realize with the conventional timber framework method. A notable feature of the KES system is its earthquake resistance, which demonstrated its strength in the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake of 1995 and the Great East Japan Earthquake of 2011. In the Great East Japan Earthquake, several timber structures using KES system remained without being washed away by the tsunami.
Fireproof wood technology that was the first in Japan to obtain the certification of the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism for three hours of fire resistance. This technology has made it possible to build wooden skyscrapers even in urban areas without restrictions on height, number of floors, uses, areas, etc. COOL WOOD is most often used in actual mid- and high-rise wooden buildings in Japan.

FREE STYLE WOOD is the name of a group of members with curves and twists, which are made by “bending”, “cutting out”, and “cutting out” wood. FREE STYLE WOOD creates a completely new wooden structure by taking advantage of the softness and ease of processing unique to wood, which is not found in iron or concrete.
